Koombea’s client Wait Time won 3 Indigo Design Awards for its crowd-sourced app.

It comes as great news to us that our client, Wait Time, won 3 Indigo Design Awards for their crowd-sourced app. These important design awards recognize the dedication and attention to detail that the Wait Time and Koombea teams have put into the app.

The awards are for the following categories:

  • Mobile Responsive Design (Silver Winner)
  • UX, Interface & Navigation (Silver Winner)
  • Mobile App (Bronze Winner)

Being awarded a total of 3 Indigo Design Awards is a great honor that speaks highly of the capabilities of our design team. These are some of the best awards in the industry and they will surely motivate us to continue doing the great work our clients are happy with. Ultimately, they are a proof of the importance of following a user-centered approach.

This distinction would not have been possible without the trust given to us by the Wait Time team. We truly value the opportunity of having them as our client. Additionally, we would like to give a special shout-out to our team of expert UX/UI designers. They always make sure that even the tiniest detail is considered in the digital products we build.

“Our team always tries to deliver the best work possible. Receiving this distinction confirms us that we are doing things right.” - Jonathan Tarud, CEO at Koombea

About the Winners

Wait Time is an effective crowd-sourced app that helps users track the wait times of their favorite businesses. Available for both iOS and Android, the app shares information about walk-in and drive-thru services across different venues on the map.

Koombea has been building digital products since 2007, from Barranquilla, Colombia, with offices in New York, San Francisco, Miami and Chicago. It has put more than 200 apps in market, several of which were acquired by Google, Motorola Solutions, Facebook and Skype. Work is delivered through AI Pods: a committed scope, priced in story points, shipped in two-week cycles.
