Real-time flight tracking across 1,500 airlines and 30,000 airports, with Gold for UX at the Indigo Awards.


## The problem

The brief sounds simple: show a flight itinerary as a timeline. The difficulty is everything that complicates a timeline, including time zones, flights that cross midnight, multi-leg journeys, and changes that arrive after the passenger has stopped checking.

Getting an edge case wrong in this product does not produce a cosmetic bug. It produces a missed flight.


## What we built

iOS and Android apps with real-time tracking, terminal, gate and baggage claim notifications, timeline itinerary visualisation, flight sharing, automatic forwarding by email, calendar sync, and aircraft location mapping.

Also Apple Watch support, Siri Shortcuts, light and dark themes, and offline access, drawing on third-party data providers and distributed flight models.

- Tracks over 1,500 airlines with worldwide coverage of over 30,000 airports
- Tens of thousands of downloads and tens of thousands of monthly active users
- Hundreds of active paid subscriptions
- Indigo Design Award: Gold in UX, Interface and Navigation, 2019
